| Posted: | | | | Hi,
my best friend who now happens to live on the other side of the country has borrowed quite a few DVDs from me. He wants to return them when I see him on the easter holidays. But he needs a list (he has a collection of his own and has recently moved).
I can filter by "loaned out" but not by "loaned out to".
Is it possible to create a report that just lists the movies borrowed to him (and not to somebody else? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Does the Loan feature still automatically set the profiles to Watched...? I believe it used to do that but haven't loaned out in a while.
If yes you could filter on Loaned Out AND Watched by "<you friend's name here>". | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

Or flag all and unflag the once that are loaned to others, if this is faster. Print "flagged entries only", plus you can save the flag-set to speed up the return at easter. And there is always XML cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

You could place that information in a HTML window and then browse with that window open. It's a little bit of initial work, but you may need it again in the future. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I may have this wrong, as I tend not to use the loaned or watched systems, but if you go into Edit Users and click on your friend's name - does it not show you their history? Will that not tell you which ones they still have?
Edit: sorry, I noticed now you actually want a report, not just a list. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

Ah, I thought it would show the name somewhere instead of the envelope-logo. But even better: go to the Collection list and rightclick. You can show a "loanded to"-Column and even sort for it. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |
