| Posted: | | | | You cannot add new entries to be defaults in the drop down list as those are programatically controlled in the software. But it is an open field so you do not have to use what's in the drop down box. You can type in there whatever you want. If you plan on submitting your changes, be sure that it follows the Rules. If you're just making the changes to your local database, then knock yourself out and use any Edition you want. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

| Posted: | | | | 46 in screen must be 16 x 9 (1:78.1) ,, you should have bought a 40 inch tube TV with 4:3 , the full screen videos will fill the screen quite nicely.. without using zoom and having to squash images horizontaly.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

All HD screens are widescreen - so you should have got the correct format dvd for the TV - which of course should be widescreen. Hopefully you can take it back and get it exchanged. For an explanation of widescreen vs pan & Scan see hereand a quick guide to aspect ratio's here | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |
