I was just wondering how to enter a DVD that comes packaged with a regular CD.

Just add it by the UPC# found on the CD package or only by disc ID?

Since the UPC is for the hole package, we can look at it as a package containing a DVD. Therefore I see no reason not to use the UPC for the profile.

we forget about cd's, perhaps in notes.
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

You mean when an audio CD comes with a bonus DVD? The profile should be specific to the DVD itself and use the disc ID, the UPC is that for an audio CD release. In the same vein, we don't detail CDs that come as bonuses to DVD sets, they just get a mention in "Other Features" and that's all.

The CD can of course be mentioned as "other feature" to the profile.

No the UPC is for the package including a CD and a DVD. IMO the fact that the CD is marketed as "main" feature is not relevant for the profile. Usually if there is a CD release without the DVD, this package has a different UPC.

Yup a DVD that comes packaged inside the CD jewel case. It's not a store exclusive but is marketed as including both.

I don't really see how that makes a difference. If it was a set with 20 CDs and one DVD would you use the UPC then?

Sure! If it would include 20 CDs and two DVDs it may under some circumstances (more than one movie, or a tv series) qualify as a box set though.

I've seen users put the CD with the disc ids. For example:
1. Main Feature (Disc ID)
2. Bonus CD

Its also mentioned with Other Features.

I don't know if I buy this.  When I bought the video game Medieval II: Total War for the PC it came with 2 DVD discs of the History Channel's Crescent and the Cross.  So you're saying I could use the UPC for the video game and put these DVDs in?
