Interesting concept, good thinking outside the box and within the Rules.

Clever, but not acceptable, I fear, unless he plays two different roles, one of which is credited and the other one uncredited!
If that is not the case, the actor is already credited, and the role name is in film credits, even if wrong.

I'd have to agree.  The actor is in fact not uncredited, therefore it would not be permissible to list him as such.

its a uncredited role then...

and it is in the greyzone of the rules at least

but after reading the rules up and down I also have to agree that it shold not be done, but the actor would get credited rightfully for his role played at least.

And may I say that some rolebending must be ok, there is no way to write a rulebook that make nothing out in the grey.
We are all at the same age, only at different time...

Yes, someone realizing that as long as we do not agree on what good data is, we can't all share the data. This is pretty obvious.

The way I read your post it appears you think it is a problem, so I just point out it isn't - DVD Profiler has the features necessary to deal with this, actually I am quite sure the features where implemented for this exact reason.

Of course it would be better if everyone agreed to let me decide what good data is so we could share it, but that is not going to happen.

Lars:

But surfeur would argue with you, we all know that ONLY he has the proper knowledge base to determine what good data is, he has told us so. ....repeatedly and often.

You are so bad, Lars
