Same EAN Code Different Movie |

But they have the same EAN code.
Now my DVD profiler 3 won't accept the EAN because there is already another (different) movie in my database with that in.
How can it be solved?
Changing the Locality ?? |

Now if you have two movies on the same side of the disc and they are part of boxset you cannot ad them to database. These collections are getting more common every day...  |

| | Posted: | | | | You can add the profile to the database, you just have to create a profile that contains both films and use dividers to separate the cast & crew.
It's the best we can do for now, anyway. |

It's the best we can do for now, anyway. Yep, I knew that, but it's not the best way. I cannot understand why we can have two DVDs with same UPC, but different locality, but not two DVDs with same UPC, but different title. |

| | Posted: | | | | If I remember rightly the reason the program is restricted to one profile per UPC was so it couldn't be adapted for commercial use (a small DVD rental store using it for stock control, for example).
But it is becoming more and more of a problem now, with many titles being repackaged into differing boxsets, so hopefully we'll get multiple profiles soon. |

Remember how it all started, the UPC had no leading number and the localities were introduced way later.
