I have a question about the front cover for transformers, the target exclusive. I rescanned the covers because i thought the text on the back was kind of faded. The question i have is actually two-fold.

first, i have two versions of the front. one with the target exclusive sticker and the other without. which would be the preferred image.

the other question is what about the transformed case? should the image be just this part without the plastic sleeve. mabye the front as untransformed back as transformed. Since this is such a non-standard case i figured maybe special circumstances apply. I know i've seen some box sets which are contributed as '3-D' Images

made this a poll, i realize people can do what they want in their local database, but what should the official database images be

IMO if the Target exclusive has its own UPC, then go ahead and enter the case with its own profile, but if the UPCs are the same, then go with the standard cover. Also if the sticker is the only difference between the cases, then once again go with the standard cover.

As for the second question, here is what the rules say: If a DVD is packaged in a keep case, within a slipcase of some kind, scan the Cover Images from the outer slipcase. If, however, the Slipcase is reflective, and the inner cover art is identical, use the Keep Case art to scan, as it will give a better quality image.

I have no idea what vote that would be, but I agree with eagle61397.

The images as they are in the database now is the way they should be. The cover art is the box the transforming case comes in, not the case itself. The sticker shouldn't be there, as per rules, and the back cover does have the instructions for transforming the case on it anyway.
