Well, this is an attempt to evaluate our addiction to dvd's. No matter if you 're watching a whole DVD or only an episode from a series. Just interested in a rough time frame.

To be honest I'm watching dvd's nearly every day. Mostly episodes from series like Star Trek, CSI etc. What about you out there?

I voted "several days a week". There may be weeks when I don't watch anything but usually I watch at least on the weekend several discs.
Every day proves to be impossible because I go to the cinema on tuesdays and poker on wednesdays.

I voted several times a week, IMO there are not many TV shows that hold my interest. But I love movies.

I go between a few DVD's a week to everyday depending on when certain TV series are released to DVD.  For example, I watched the entire series of ST:Voyager, ST:DS-9, and ST:Enterprise in one long run (for each series, not for all three back-to-back).

However, I'm currently at several a week while I wait for BSG to be released in R1 (grr grr growl grr grr).

I would love to vote once a day but sadly it would be a lie but I try to get in at least 3 or 4 a week (just finished 2 today . I got Death Proof here and it is begging to be watched but I told a pal I would wait on  his next visit before I pop it in.

Everyday if I'm at home, I don't bring my DVD with me on vacancy. I'm not that addicted

At my home, since I don't have cable TV and don't see the need for it, you have two choice :

Watch DVD (TV serie or movie) or listen music. I'm more a music maniac (I love almost everything) than a movie maniac, but please don't beat me for this

It depends - some days I don't watch TV or DVDs and some days I'll have a movie marathon!

My question will probably sound stupid for the people that I ask it, but for the user who collect and don't watch : Where is the fun in this? I can't understand that some people are collector since I have collect stamps and sport card in the past. It looks like a waste of good time if you just put them in a library and just watch the case.

Several time a week; I working away at the moment (staying at a hotel with only the basic terrestrial channels) so I watch DVDs on my laptop. Usually I watch older TV since if I want to watch a big action movie I'll appreciate it more on my Home Cinema set-up at home... and since I often buy at a faster rate than I watch this staying away is actually helping me to catch up a bit
I don't tend to watch so many at the weekends as I'm catching up on TV I've missed in the week recorded onto the Virgin V+ box and catching up generally with my wife, but if there's something we both want to watch on DVD then obviously we will... Apocalypto is up for consideration this weekend I think

I'd love to have a few DVD marathons but this was a lot easier before I was married!

I'm almost daily.  In the summer I am daily.  When the new TV season starts, I'm almost daily.

Top 10 Reasons to collect but not watch DVDs .....

- the cover pictures are so pretty
- gotta love that new plastic smell
- box sets make such decorative displays for the holidays
- "my dad has more DVD's than your dad" bragging rights!
- used to collect books and never read them, so what's the difference
- the wife make me throw out all my unopened baseball cards .... ha, I fixed her!
- just wait, someday they'll be worth millions on eBay!
- I'm working on consecutive UPC numbers, isn't everyone?
- at least it's more educational than throwing money down the rat hole
- I'll be famous when I donate my entire collection to the Smithsonian
