Yup, both of mine are calibrated to ISF visual standards and THX audio specifications.

After you see an ISF officially calibrated screen, you can "never" see an uncalibrated screen again.
It's a very good upgrade. (The impact of ISF calibration varies widely according to the TV/Projector make/model)
With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits who continue to insist that there is no such thing as progress.

My current CRT widescreen is already 10 years old, I'll be waiting for my next television (I hope it'll be some time) before I'll let it ISF calibrated

I'd like to have mine done, but so far it's just the tweaks I've made myself.

I have my audio calibrated but I don't have the screen colors calibrated beyond eyeballing it.

Hell, even just using something like the THX Optimizer on certified discs can make a noticeable difference. It does a good job on both the audio and video side. At the least I would highly recommend that to anyone if nothing else fits the budget or time.

I used Digital Video Essentials.  But it would still be nice to have it done professionally.

Yes, every time I change the bulb in my projector I hire a ISF certified tech to calibrate the projector. It is worth every penny of the $500 (+/-) that it costs to do this. Very noticable differences, especially if you have equipment that allows for detailed configuration.  Highly recommended!
