That word just doesn't mean what Ken thinks it means. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar | | | Last edited: by TheMadMartian |

It's like companies have got some sort of Copyright or Trademark on "Soon" and when used by them it can mean anything except what everyone else knows it as! |

Short, as in not long, short straw, this piece of string is short, he's not vertically challenged, he's short and of course theres ' shortly' as in soon. | Posted: | | | | Ken, I'm sure you are following this thread. What I'm not sure of is what you are thinking about all the comments that have been made so far.
Back in April, you said 'Note: To be clear, we still have much work to be done before release. More info will be out soon'. Can you qualify that statement please? What constitutes 'soon'?
Whilst I am happy to wait for profiler to come out on the iPhone, please bear in mind that I am over 60 years of age and I don't have that long to go!!!!!
Surely you can issue a short statement about the progress of the app, given the anticipation that is obvious from the posts in this thread. I think you are doing us, your loyal followers, a disservice by treating us like mushrooms, keeping us in the dark and feeding us BS.

OS4 is not supported with the first generation iPod touch And apparently half the time it bricks 3G and 3GS so I'm not intending to download it. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | I upgraded a 3G and a 3GS to iOS4 without issue.
If it does brick, plug in into your computer using the USB cable an then press and hold both the power button and the home button until the device reboots and displays the USB graphic. This puts the device into recovery mode and then iTunes can restore it. |

| Posted: | | | | I had to put my old 3G into recovery mode (DFU is the official term). Seems my backups (I had two) were both bad. But now it's chugging along just fine for my wife and I now have the new iPhone 4. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Personally I would be Happy if Ken first released a iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch version with just a listing of what is in your program after downloading the info from the web. (I hate Apple's locking of their sync function!)

| Posted: | | | | As i think has been mntioned before, i would be quite happy to pay for a lite version if it was released now and then pay again for the full version once its done.
my main priority is to just have something on my iphone/ipad, the rest of the features can come later |

| Posted: | | | | I know plenty of people on here have already stated this...but maybe if we keep asking, we might finally get an answer...
When are we gonna get some details on the app? Any timeframe? I mean ANY. Tell us "another month". Tell us "another year". Just tell us something...
I agree that a "quick and dirty" release soon (with just a list view of profiles) and a full featured release later would be good.
