Skip Fine, the list doesn't match. End of discussion. Yea, I looked at the list and the entire cast list matches with the exception of one voice only role...are you guys really going to hang your hat on that one role? And, for the record, I disagreed with Skip long before he made his opinion known...wait a minute...maybe Skip is disagreeing with me on purpose. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. John's overall changes to the cast are fine, for (uncredited) it is similar to but NOT a clone of TWSNBN.
For example TWSNBN lists Ryker's man our listing is Ryker's Man.
I did take note of at least one more modification that could be made to further break the connection, but the data is not identical.

Skip Now see, I wouldn't hang my hat on one using upper case and the other using lower case. But that's just me...and...I guess...Rifter. Let's look at it from a slightly different viewpoint. There are rare ocassion when TWSNBN gets it right, does that mean if they get the data before we do we can't use it, by your rationale, I would be willing to argue that case even though I am not an attorney...it sounds fun. I am trying to find a middle ground between the extreme of grandfathering in clearly scraped data, and the other extreme of summarily removing most all of the (uncredited) data. I recognize going forward (uncredited) will become a rare and far more correct commodity than currently at TWSNBN, but for old data, I am simply trying to find amiddle ground and I think that is it.

Skip Believe me, I want the same middle ground but I can see Rifter's point of view. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Here's the uncredited cast list from the current profile:
Ewing Miles Brown ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Bill Cartledge ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Chester W. Hannan ... Ryker Man (uncredited) George J. Lewis ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Rex Moore ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Howard Negley ... Pete 'Yank' Potts, Harmonica (uncredited) Charles Quirk ... Clerk (uncredited) Steve Raines ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Jack Sterling ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Beverly Washburn ... Ruth Lewis (uncredited) Henry Wills ... Ryker Man (uncredited)
And here's the uncredited cast from IMDB:
Ewing Miles Brown ... Ryker Man (uncredited) Bill Cartledge ... Ryker man (uncredited) Chester W. Hannan ... Ryker man (uncredited) George J. Lewis ... Ryker man (uncredited) Rex Moore ... Ryker man (uncredited) Howard Negley ... Pete 'Yank' Potts, harmonica player (uncredited) Charles Quirk ... Clerk (uncredited) Steve Raines ... Ryker man (uncredited) Jack Sterling ... Ryker man (uncredited) George Stevens ... Knock him into that pigpen, Chris! (voice) (uncredited) Beverly Washburn ... Ruth Lewis (uncredited) Henry Wills ... Ryker man (uncredited)
I have to admit, the only difference I can see is the addition of George Stevens on IMDB, oh and the added "player" which may have been a space thing in our list. Having said that, I'm on the side of keeping the data unless you can show that it's wrong. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

He said the cast list were different because one said 'Ryker's man' (lowercase m) and the other said 'Ryker's Man' (uppercase M). Quote: The cast list is different. I can't be the only one who sees more uncredited people listed on IMDB than what is in the old profile. IMDb has 12 uncredited and Profiler has 11. I already admitted that fact on page 3. But I didn't look at just the uncredited. I looked at the entire cast list. The only way, that I can think of, to not see that the two cast list match is if you don't want to see it. The cast list is different. I can't be the only one who sees more uncredited people listed on IMDB than what is in the old profile. Wasn't that what you just posted? Now, not only are you pointing out the caps but you are highlighting the word 'player' which was obviously left out because of the field length? Like I said, it sure seems like it is a matter of 'not wanting to see it'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
