Unfortunately, with evolving technology, we're running into more and more problems.
For example, when you go to the trivia page of Yojimbo you can only see a few entries and then you need to click for "more".
This will then loaded in the background by the server.
Unfortunately, I cannot simulate that click, so I will only ever have access to that first visible batch. Same for goofs or for TV show seasons (e.g. Anime) with more than 50 episodes per season.
Works fine thanks so much DJ |

| Posted: November 24, 2024 1:52 PM | | | | I'm still having the problem I reported a couple months ago...usually (but not always) it takes an extremely long time to scan page (for movies) or scan episodes (for TV shows). To the point where I just hit the button, go away, and do something else for a while. I've never had the patience to wait it out in order to time it, but it's several minutes. Is that just something I have to live with now? |

But yeah it's been getting slower to get lots of data from IMDb because they don't really want what we're doing so at some point they refuse requests and I need to silently wait.
I just scanned the first two seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds with cast, directors, writers, music, birth years and images and it took 15 minutes for those 20 episodes. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: December 17, 2024 7:34 PM | | | | Since today, CastCrewEdit no longer works for me. I look for a title, click on it - go to film and when the page tries to scan, the error message (in german): "Die URL ist inkorrekt. Bitte wähle eine Form von http://www.imdb.com/titel/tt0000000/" immediately appears. (Translated: "the URL is incorrect. Please choose a form of http://www.imdb.com/titel/tt0000000/"
The IMDB film URL is https instead of http as in the error message. |

When searching for an entry, be it for the movie Red Riding 1974 for example, there is a language selection like /de (German in my example) hidden in the "http://www.imdb.com/titel/tt0000000/" string = "https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt1259574/?ref_=fn_ttl_ttl_3"
Locate and delete these three letters and you will be fine. | | | Last edited: January 6, 2025 1:33 PM by TraunStaa |
