Just read this discussion, all HD version for Highlander are not Director's Cut but the European Cut. When it's on a Blu-ray cover, it's a mistake.

Go to
DVD Title: Highlander
Edition: 30th Anniversary Edition

The "Edition" field is used to distinguish between different releases of a given title.  Given this I find it perfectly valid for this release when profiled to reflect "Director's Cut" considering this is a "Director's Cut" of the film and that wording is part of the title treatment on both the front and spine of the slip and actual cover art.  The fact this release doesn't call out which director's cut should not preclude that wording from the "Edition" field.

Example from IMDb provided below.
The U.S Director's Cut and the European Director's Cut differs some in dialog. Example: When Connor falls from the boat and end up on the sea floor, the U.S version dialog says: "I'm alive" European version says: "I'm alive...I can breath..." Shortly followed by; "I'll split you in half!" (spoken in the same moment as Connor draws his sword under water)

In any case, I personally don't care how this release is profiled with respects to the online database.  I was just trying to be helpful by making a contribution ensuring first that I understood the contribution rules.  If certain aspects of my contribution are not accepted despite that so be it.  Locally I'll profile this release how I want.  I don't rely on the ability to store my collection online anyway.  My local database always takes precedent and I perform backups on a regular basis.  Once I download a profile I lock it down.  I never need to download it again or perform an update.  Going forward I make updates to the given profile myself locally if needed.

I would also agree with the change to the UK.  StudioCanal and Thorn EMI are both European companies...

StudioCanal is a distributor of this film and isn't relevant to the CoO.  If it was a production co. of this film you would have to add France to CoO with UK.

So you know, my contribution for changing the CoO to UK has nothing to do with StudioCanal.  The actual production companies are UK based and IMDb confirms the same as do other profiles for this film.  As you said, StudioCanal is a distributor, hence not relevant to the CoO.
