However, I don't see any gain in removing posts. Stand by your posts and let them stand, I say.
And I agree with some of the others - while I may not always agree with Giga there is absolutely no denying that he made a valuable contribution to both the forum and the online db. |

He desided to leave and cut all ties to the forums. Its easier to delete everything then to evaluate 3800+ posts. But IMHO whatever the reason, its hes choice. |

This is a very harsh step to leave after all this time, this cannot be forced by one argument over a contribution. So far this remains a mystery to me. I hope he will change his mind and not let the attitudes and behavior of a small handful of users run him or ayone else off, I've seen it coming for a very long time, there are many users who have had enough and some have already left, far more than i can take credit for. It's very sad and I am not at all happy about iT. He is my friend and I will miss him, just as I would miss any of you. But, in the end, it is his decision and all I can do is support it.
