The program needs to be changed to allow more than one entry with the same upc code. Why would we want to change the rules and open a can of worms???? |

You don't have to convince anybody here about this. The situation is clear, the rules don't need to be changed. The program needs to be changed to allow more than one entry with the same upc code. Why would we want to change the rules and open a can of worms????  | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!

| | Posted: | | | | I am very sorry but I contacted 20th Fox Century Home Entertainment and the case of Die Hard 2 is considered a "DEFECTIVE CASE" not even a mistake so now it is the time to face the facts as they are not as we should think they are.
Die Hard 2 on Blu-ray suffere a defective soundtrack no matter how you put it or twist it around that doesn't chage the fact that the first batch released were defective and the prof is with the e-mail that you get when you contact them and this is an official quote from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment so please read between the lines.

*** If you have a defective disk that's part of a box set, the entire box set has to be returned to us ***
Please remember if the instructions are not as followed your item will be sent back to you.

With this prof that originaly it is a DTS-HD MA and not a DTS-HD and only a batch of those disc were defective meaning that according to Fox this not reflecting what has been released officialy and keep in mind that officialy a copy that is DTS-HD is defective always in reference with Fox. Stop saying that is is a mistake whatsoever it is defective. |

Do you really think they are going to come out and say yeah, our audio encoder f'd up and encoded the track wrong. No, saying it's a defective release makes it sound like it wasn't their fault, that it was something out of their control. mistake = defective. this is not the first time (and won't be the last) a studio released a bad disc and put out a replacement. I don't understand what you find so hard about the rules. With the current limitations of the program we need a way to decide which data gets included. the easiest, most objective way to do it is first release. you can contribute the fix by disc ID but unless Ken makes an exception the UPC profile needs to be for the original release, error or not. -Agrare |

Invel;os writes the Rules for profiler...not you and not 20th cENTURY FOX..use the disc ID system to bulid your new re-release profile, or don't, but stop your mindless meanderings and follow the RULES. I don't understand what your problem is, you asked a question, you got an answer. You didn't get the answer that YOU wanted so you have tried various tactics to argue the point, but the answer remains the SAME. Follow it or don't, your choice, but follow the Rules and end the prattle. I can't help that you don't seem to have any concept of how collecting things works, maybe you should have collected stamps or baseball cards, then you would have a clearer picture of what a mistake is versus a correction and the potentials involved in each. your attempts to impose your wiill are becoming very stale, old and annoying. Just use the Disc ID system. Stop the whine and the endless drone.  If Fox wants to call it defective, that is their choice, but it does not reflect REALITY robetclo, the "defective" disc PLAYS in a disc Player, meaning that it is not defective by definition, Fox made an error by not including the proper Audio, btu it is an error that does not affect the playability of the disc. It's a mistake, and I don't care what you call it or what Fox calls it. It changes NOTHING about the fact that your corrected disc is a RE-RELEASE and can be entered only via Disc ID.
