| Posted: | | | | Quoting TomGaines: Quote: I mentioned this already in the "spam" thread, but just in case I will also mention here because I noticed this behaviour again.
As a user who uses tabbed browing extensively, the following always happens when giving postive or negative votes: After submit it redirects to the thread which was opened last and not to the thread were the message you voted on is. When I browse forums, I always open all relevant threads in tabs first (via middle-mouse click), so this is not a rare case that this will happen to me. Ken explained this behavior on the previous page. Basically it returns to the last votable page you visited. While it's nice to know exactly what the problem is, it would still be nice if it didn't do that. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Yeah, it be nicer if it returned to the last MESSAGE you visited. Especially if it's near the bottom of the last votable page you visited. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? Yes, conservativeness is an adornment - But let's be honest: a star from our wife is more valuable than any other star in any forum. | Posted: | | | | Maybe have the stars as a table cell background? Then they'll float under the name and prevent against the name block from wrapping like mine does. Would also require a hidden 1 pixel high and xx pixels wide transparent image in there somewhere to force the table cell from shrinking beyond a certain width if someone posts a very wide image. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |
