| Posted: | | | | So which do we go by the written credits or the Logos, nobody seem to answer any of the questions just stating the rule which are vague. the opening Logo shows Dreamworks animation SKG but written it shows Dreamworks Animation. Also If we go by the written, what about all of the studio credits in the Profiler for DC Comices that are there from just having a logo in the opening credits. | | | Last edited: by Darknite |

| Posted: | | | | We use the 'correct' name for studios. Sometimes that name will be in the logo, sometimes not. Usually, the logo is a shortened version of the name...Universal & Paramount are good examples...so, whenever possible, the written name should be used over the logo name. For companies that do not have a written version in the film credits, you can use the logo or do some research to try and find the actual name.
Using the logo isn't prohibited if it is the correct name or there is no other choice. If there is, the correct written name always trumps the logo. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
