| Posted: | | | | I see Icefyre's idea being used more in the context that you're casually browsing your collection looking for something to watch. If he fancied a few Clone Wars episodes and landed on that profile he'd immediately know to keep looking. The loaned to column just doesn't grab your attention as much. Also I believe the idea was for the graphic to appear over the cover scans not just the thumbnails, although adding it to the thumbnails too might work. |

As I said, try to enable the loaned to column in the collection list I'm fine with that, although Im sure they could add something to sort that out too. The reason I want something like this is to know which movie I've loaned out, not necessarily to whom. As I could see that in the users. It started getting really messy when my DVD collection was growing and I loaned out some, and simply forgot that I've loaned them out. So when I got them back I had no idea I was missing them. This way at least I can see which one's is not in my shelf. |

Given that there are many ways of browsing your collection and skins you can use in DVDP... it may be a case that a "LOANED" watermark be applied to both the thumbnail as well as the cover. If we wanted to expand on this, we COULD add something like "LOANED TO [NAME]" over the cover, as the thumbnail would not have enough room for that |

But I've noticed, that the image quality is worse than the actual cover. | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

| Posted: | | | | That looks good SH84... but I have no use for this... as I never loan out my DVDs... but I think a watched one would be pretty cool. Maybe say something like Last Watched on {DATE} by {NAME}. Then I could get rid of my little basic last watched HTML Window. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | That would be cool... but unless others want it... you don't have to do it for me at least. I played with the loaned one just to get the feel for it. And noticed that clicking on the image don't bring up the full sized cover-art. I rather keep the ability of having full sized art then replacing the html window I made for last watched. But still cool work! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | The image is the full size image, but it it's somehow sharpened by the IE engine... For you (and the other guys with last watched windows): Quote: <HTML> <HEAD>
<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript"> <!-- <DP NAME="HEADER_VARS" Language="JavaScript" Comments="True" IncludeCast="False" IncludeCrew="False"> //-->
</SCRIPT> <style type="text/css"> <!-- body { margin: 0px; background-color:white; overflow:hidden; height=100%; width=100%;
}
.loanedtext { font: bold 20px/50px verdana, sans-serif; color:white; } .watched { position:absolute; left:0px; top:40%; height:50px; width:100%; background-color:blue; filter:Alpha(opacity=70, finishopacity=50, style=3) }
-->
</style> </HEAD> <BODY> <center> <div id="cover"> <SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript"> document.write("<img src=\""+DP_ImageFileFront+"\" name=\"cover\" height = 100%>"); </SCRIPT> <SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript"> if (DP_LastWatched > 0){ document.write("<div class=\"watched\"><span class= \"loanedtext\">Last watched on " + DP_LastWatched.getMonth() + "/" + DP_LastWatched.getDate() + "/" + DP_LastWatched.getFullYear() +"</span></div>"); } </SCRIPT> </div>

| Posted: | | | | You can get who it was watched by by changing the html above. Change this:
<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript"> if (DP_LastWatched > 0){ document.write("<div class=\"watched\"><span class= \"loanedtext\">Last watched on " + DP_LastWatched.getMonth() + "/" + DP_LastWatched.getDate() + "/" + DP_LastWatched.getFullYear() +"</span></div>"); }
to
<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript"> last_watch = "<DP NAME="LAST_WATCHED_BY">"; if (DP_LastWatched > 0){ document.write("<div class=\"watched\"><span class= \"loanedtext\">Last watched on " + DP_LastWatched.getMonth() + "/" + DP_LastWatched.getDate() + "/" + DP_LastWatched.getFullYear() +" by " + last_watch + "</span></div>"); } |

...
That is cool! But what I meant was When I placed that as a replacement for the standard front image. When I click on it (so it shows me the full sized image) it does nothing. I do appreciate what you did... but as long as when I click on it it does not bring up the full sized image I will just stick with my little html window | | | Pete |
