| | Posted: | | | | I feel 2-3 days is plenty of time. I have noticed that on my contributions after 2-3 days I generally don't get any more votes. I agree with Pete it only takes a few minutes to vote and it is something I look forward to every day. (I know I need a life. LOL). |

In addition to the already mentioned arguments I'd like to add the following:
The longer profiles are up to vote, the longer it takes for them to appear in the online. Especially with new titles that means a lot more initial or (if a pre-release profile exists) first change submissions will occur. With blockbuster titles we#re currently already running into somewhere between a dozen and twenty plus submissions within the first couple of days. If the voting (and in turn processing) period is extended, there's going to be even more contributors not checking fpr pending updates and adding their submission to the pile.

More people checking the contribution, more opportunities to discuss issues, more time for the Screeners to make the right decision in full relax, no need to hurry! I don't connect to invelos each day, so I often miss contributions.
In countries where there is few voters, more bad contributions are accepted because of a short exposure time.
Maybe there could be rules for the exposure time ? like for example :
4 days by default.
3 days with more than 4 votes.
2 days with more than 6 votes.
This way, it enable to correctly vote for "rare" DVD's and speed up contributions for blockbusters.
