OK... I think I am getting confused here... what appears at the end of each episode?

I would think the original japanese Credits in Kanji.

ok... I missed where it was said the English Cast only after all episodes run. So in that case I would do it...

1. Episode Name (Divider)
Actor... Role (Japanese cast from credits)
Actor... Role (Japanese cast from credits)
2. Episode Name (Divider)
Actor... Role (Japanese cast from credits)
Actor... Role (Japanese cast from credits)
Etc.
English Cast (Divider)
Actor... Role
Actor... Role
Etc.

And would still not use Disc dividers as I said before.

This would work and does work perfectly for the child profile but in the parent profile that has 6 discs it would be a confusing format IMO. Having 4 seperate English Cast listings that have no indication for which episodes they are in reference to other then the 4 previous episode dividers for the Japanese casts.

OK... this is what I would use then. I cannot tell you to use Disc dividers... as the rules tells us to use dividers per episode. Since it says that and nothing about per disc I would view that as against the rules. It may not be perfect... but I think it is as close to perfect as the rules allows. (IMO)

Now of course locally you could put in disc dividers and lock your cast list after you are done. But from the way I am reading the rules... this sounds like the best you can get within the rules.

At the end of each episode are English Credits, but no cast is listed here. Only things such as Director, Animation Director, Character Design, etc. In the extra's section you can view the original Japanese credits (translated), for each episode. In this case there were a total of 4 since there were 4 episodes on the disc. But thats not all that relivent. The fact of the matter is that the English cast is clumped at the end of the disc with all episodes included in the format that I described in my initial post.

Hope that clears things up. Not an easy thing for me to explain.

For whatever it's worth, I'm an anime fan too, and this is my humble opinion.

I would do it as Pete suggested at the disc level - list Japanese cast first, with dividers by episode number, then English cast at the end of the disc, clumped together.  For the parent box, I would list it thusly:

[DIVIDER] Japanese Cast
[DIVIDER] Episode 1
Actor - Role
[DIVIDER] Episode 2
Actor - Role

etc until you are done

[DIVIDER] English Cast
[DIVIDER] Episodes 1-4
Actor - Role
[DIVIDER]English Cast
[DIVIDER] Episodes 5-8
Actor - Role

etc until you are done

Since you said that each disc has 4 episodes, and the English credits are given for the episodes together, I would simply title the divider in the parent profile with the range of episodes on the disc.  You could also mix up the Japanese cast & English cast by listing the first four episodes with their Japanese cast, then listing the English cast for episodes 1-4, then doing the same for 5-8 and so on and so forth.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

I would use the following Divider:

Disc 1
Japanese Cast
Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
Episode 4
English Cast
Disc 2
...

This is the same format I use when profiling the episodes where the English cast is not specified by episodes but the Japanese cast is.  The only exception is I don't use disc dividers.

If the cast is done by episodes then I use:

Episode 1
Japanese Cast
English Cast
Episode 2
Japanese Cast
English Cast
Episode 3
Japanese Cast
English Cast
Episode 4

The only time I do use disc dividers is when there is only one set of translated credits at the end of the disc for all episodes on the disc.

Thanks tkinnen and Danae! Always nice to hear input from fellow anime fans and I think I know exactly how I'm going to format these now. Thanks again everyone who posted, ran out of Greenies today!
