Locally, I'll put the correct rating in if I know the printed one is in error.  It doesn't come up often, but I do it nonetheless, primarily because I have a 9-year-old.  It's all cute to duplicate the error because of a rule, but the rating actually serves a purpose for me and I need it to be correct.

midnitoil's concern is a good reason why there may be more important issues than strictly following a rule.  In the case of Parental Controls, it would be prudent to adequately describe the program material on the DVD even if it doesn't follow the rule.

I don't have children, but if I did I would be rather annoyed if my children had access to something that was under-rated just because of wording of this rule.

Except if cute doesn't mean what I think it means, I never found cute to duplicate an error. I hardly understand why people refuse to say when they find a rule inadequate. Ken may decide to change things when everybody  ask for a change. But if people say that's all good, ken will keep things as they are.

Please, can somebody explain me why it is interesting to duplicate evident errors ???

But please keep in mind that in the case of this topic it is not an error. The DVD is just rated differently than the movie on it.

Understood that. My remark is general. The topic began with the question : "If there is an error, what to do ?" The fact that the given example was not appropriate changes nothing to the question.
