How do you see if the track is surround flagged with this software? I only see 2ch. with tracks that I'm pretty sure they are surround.
Can anyone help me with this one? The original message indicated he could see the Surround flag with DVDShrink. I don't know how to get it from that software (i'd like to know myself). If you have PowerDVD (i'm describing it as found in version 7) you can either select Ctrl+O (the letter O) or click the icon that lets you select a different source drive. At the bottom of the list of source drives are the words " Open media file". Select this and a new dialog opens from which you can select a file of the current DVD or select a another drive if you have multiple. Then select one of the .VOB files. Pick one that is 1 GB in size (1,048,404 exactly) because then you know have part of the film and not some extra. Select/Add this file then click OK. You should begin watching a segment of the film. Right click in the PowerDVD window and select Show Information. You can then cycle thru the Audio stream (press H) and what was Dolby Digital 2.0 will now be Dolby Digital Surround 2.0 if the flag is set. You were looking for a DVDShrink answer so this may not help you but might help someone. |
