| Posted: | | | | I would argue that on the wrestling DVDs, he wasn't The Rock as himself. He was Dwayne Johnson as The Rock (uncredited). The seems to be his position as well. |

None of this matters. He was credited as 'The Rock' and that is all that matters. As for his wrestling credits, he was The Rock, not Dwayne Johnson as The Rock. Those are their stage names, which is why they are credited that way in films credits, and that is what we should use. It doesn't really matter what his position was. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Then why was he credited as 'The Rock' in his first few movies? Because that was his stage name. Why did he sign autographs as 'The Rock', instead of Dwayne Johnson? Because that was his stage name. He can try and distance himself from it all he wants but it changes nothing. During the early part of his career, his stage name was 'The Rock' and that is how he should be entered. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. That doesn't change the fact that he was credited as 'The Rock'. Since that isn't his name, it must have been his stage name...unless you are going to argue that it was 'Dwayne Johnson as The Rock as The Scorpion King'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. As of yet, that seems to be Dwayne Johnson, and as such, any credits for "The Rock" should be entered as "Dwayne Johnson [The Rock]". |
