I don't think I'm any kind of detriment to the forum, yet I make few (12) posts with Green Arrows... some with one, one with three, the others with two... If what I say offends no one (so far), and occasionally brings a smile to a couple of people, why should I worry about a Gold Star? I enjoy the forum... I enjoy it more now that a few contributors (to the forum, not to the database) watch their tone more than they had in the past. It's not like I flood the forum with either amazingly helpful posts nor offensive comments. ...cat removed...
I could not agree with this more. I have been using the software and forums for a long time, but recently (like last 6 months) decided not to post largely because it seems that if you don't go with the flow or agree with the people who seem to "control the forums" you get blasted. I still enjoyed reading the forums because many times there is good information ... once you could wade through the garbage and flaming. Now I can actually read the forums and not have to wonder how far back this lashing went and from what thread it carried from... of course if I do need to read one of those, there are still plenty of the old threads still out there |

way to rain on the parade - in reality the others are right, it doesn't matter... I believe Dr. Killp was engaging in some silly hyperbole, and I laughed with him... BTW, I have a miserable cold, and I've discovered that: To which I'm informed: | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
