If a movie is released DtoD in my locality how am I supposed to find where and when was the first theatrical release, how am I even supposed to know that there actually was one. The same is true for a film which has been released theatrically. How do you know that it has been released to theatres? How do you know in which locality it has been released first and when? |

I don't, I've made that point in other discussion more than once. I never liked the idea of making on rule based on "a xxx version exists" or "a xxx version doesn't exist" because that assumes of knowledge of the existence or not of something. | | | My 4x4 Club: Club FJ Cruiser Quebec DVDP Français: Forum DVD Profiler Français DVDCOL:DVD Collectors Online Video: LG RU-42PX10 Audio: Sony DreamSystem DAVFX100W |

I even made that comment in my yes vote on your contribution. I am not sure how that date change slipped by in the previous vote. No, that's the release date, not the production date. But the current rules force us to use the release date in a field called production date :/ | | | - Jan |
