| Posted: | | | | Please, make the Iphone version capable of handling multiple collection databases at the same time. As I seperated my Bluray from my DVD collection, I find it quite limitating to be able to upload only one of both collections online.
I do realy hope that DVDprofiler for iPhone won't sync over the online collection, because that would mean I could only handle one of my both collections. |

So, with that in mind I open this thread to any and all feature requests for the iPhone/iPad version. Bear in mind we'll be considering these not only for 1.0 but also for future updates.
Although we'd love to share the features already planned/implemented, we don't want to tip our hand to our competition just yet.
Some basic notes: DVD Profiler for iPhone/iPad is what we're calling the app here. On the app store it will likely be called just 'DVD Profiler'. It will be compatible with iPhone/3g/3gs, iPod Touch, and iPad. For the iPod Touch, the latest paid firmware will be required.
Note: To be clear, we still have much work to be done before release. More info will be out soon. |

| Posted: | | | | My only suggestion, as well as my only hope is that there is a separate iPod / iPad Application, cinemafan said in the last post that the app would span both, but an application that I would have to hit 2x on to run full screen? Couldn't do it. The graphics are just magnified iPod graphics. But DVD Profiler HD for the iPad? That I could grasp between my starving jaws and feast on for days... (Did I mention that I am a Huge Fan of DVD Profiler? |

These apps are marked with an "+" inn AppStore I certainly hope I do not have to buy separate versions for my iPhone and my iPad. | | | Karsten | | | Last edited: by karstenp |

| Posted: | | | | I'm really wondering now if there's some kind of gag order in place. Ken has only posted once since late July and that was a month & a half ago. Gerri hasn't posted since late May. Both still read the forums though. If it is a gag order, I'm thankful it doesn't include the website - last one effectively shut down the company.
Just speculating. Hope I'm wrong. |

| Posted: | | | | Gag order? It sounds likely. I don't know Ken or anyone from Invelos, and have stood behind all of this waiting...but if it is a Gag order it is working...All this waiting is making me Gag. I still think if Ken could keep us posted, and if he could release it now he would. It is Income people. Ken, do what you must, the loyals await. |

| Posted: | | | | It would be nice if Ken said SOMETHING, ANYTHING about what's going on. At least once a month. Is that to much to ask? Months on end with nothing at all said of what's going on just really sucks. |

Just speculating. Hope I'm wrong. I have searched the internet for any hint of legal proceedings, either civil or criminal, involving Invelos and I can find nothing, not a peep. I'm sure if there had been anything the media would have it by now especially Zdnet. I'm beginning to think that Invelos could be subject to a takeover and wouldn't be surprised to see someone proudly announce that they now own Invelos Software. That could go part way to explaining Ken's reticence and also the lack of action on the iPhone app or the PC app for that matter; did anyone happen to notice the lact of action on that front too? | Posted: | | | | We rarely hear anything about the PC app until BAM! There's a BETA! Suddenly, there is a flurish of activity, new betas, plenty of posting from Ken, and a zillion database submissions. Then after the product is released, some idle chit-chat from Ken and then a period of silence with a few posts a week. |

It's the way that Ken works and we need to do with it even if it's sometime difficult for the customers we are. Each year we see this kind of discussion/debate in the forum but each year we have new version from Ken. To my mind I would like to have sometime some feedback or info from Ken to inform us on what he works and what are the advances in the development of the different projects (desktop version, mobile version, DVDP+, etc.) but I respect the point of view of Ken and sometime I can understand it when I see some posts in the forum. But of course I hope the release of the iPhone/iPad version of DVD Profiler will be soon | | | Regards Cyrille |
