Skip I trust that if Ken truly thinks there is abuse he will deal with it. Personally I have only dished out one negative since it went live (I think - that's all I remember). There really hasn't been anything said by anyone (IMO) since the system went live to warrant a negative vote. I have given out many positive votes, but no more for the fuzzy headed Panda She's letting it go to her head |

| Posted: | | | | What about a (weekly?) limit to the feedbacks you can give to a same person? For instance, no more than three positive and two negative votes to the same person. That should prevent "personal wars", and "you rub my shoulders, I rub yours" behaviors. | | | -- Enry | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

After I cast 4 positive votes, I couldn't remember which posts I had voted for. You do see an icon on a post for which you've voted, but if you've left the thread, you might not remember which threads contain voted posts. Agreed, this would be helpful especially for any negative votes cast. My guess is you won't have too many reasons to remove a positive vote but you may possibly want to remove a negative vote. |

| Posted: | | | | I personally was under the impression we were supposed to play with it to give it a dry run anyway.... and that we all would be basically starting anew on Monday when the account restriction system is enabled.... Quoting Ken Cole: Quote: The reputation system is now live, for a dry run. The account restrictions due to low reputations are disabled for this run.
We'll let it run over the weekend then on Monday morning we will enable the account restriction ability.
During and/or at the end of the test run, the scores may be reset. | | | Pete |

I would be opposed to this. If someone continuously has good posts they should be rewarded, just as bad posts should be pointed out to the poster, no matter how many times you have voted for them that week. It's about being responsible for ones own actions and letting the community decide if those actions are good or bad. Putting too many restrictions on it defeats the purpose, at least IMNSHO |
