| Posted: | | | | Ok, let me see if I have understood it correctly Quoting Ken Cole (from Contribution Rules Committee): Quote: For localities which offer it as a choice, enter "Unrated" for DVDs which... So this means that if a film is released in an extended version all around the world, it would be rated as "Unrated" if it's a US release (and possible some other locations) and would be treated as the highest rating, while the exact same thing if released in another locality would be "NR" and would sort as the lowest rating. Now, if that isn't a great source for confusion I don't know what is. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Now, if that isn't a great source for confusion I don't know what is. But who says they are not rated. In Holland and the UK, and from what i understand Germany as well, all dvd's/blu-ray's are rated and will have that rating. I have several dutch dvd's which have Unrated on the cover (probably copied directly from the US of UK, and still have a 12 or 16 rating on the back. That is the rating we than use. Paul |

Paul Yes, I totally agree, Unrated on the cover means nothing here in Germany too, but so far this change will only apply to the US releases, as KEN said, still I am strongly against it Donnie | | | www.tvmaze.com |

Paul OK, make that "in some other localities", then. Doesn't change the argument. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
