More pleasant according to whom? We all bring different personalities, expereinces, expertise and so on. We are reduced Online to a Society Online where the standards of behavior are determined by the two sets of people, those with a personal agenda against any give user, and those that simply wish to try and control the behavior of otheres according to THEIR sytandards. How pathetic, that Ken's develoment has to interrupted to apeal to those of both these camps that are simp;ly unwilling to act like adults and want to desperately impose their will on SOMEONE or SOMETHING.
Fascinating to me that the one's most vocal behind this are the same one's who want to twist the Rules every chance they get.
Skip I couldn't disagree more, Skip I've separated your statement to emphasize it. I'm behind this new development 100% - can you tell me that I'm trying to twist the Rules? I think you'd agree that's very far from the truth. I DO agree that the community is split into 2 sets of people though - those that think being rude and obnoxious is unacceptable...and those who don't care what anyone else thinks. It is the latter who need to worry about this new system - everyone else will be ok with it. | | | Last edited: by Pantheon |

| Posted: | | | | Like others have said - I am looking forward to this system and am happy to be judged by all my posts.
I think this has the potential to be a very positive addition to the forums. | | | Paul |

It is the latter who need to worry about this new system - everyone else will be ok with it. Good analysis, Pantheon. There are a number of people here who justify their rude and obnoxious behavior because they feel the other guy started it. They take the least little statement as a direct personal affront. These people have very large chips on their shoulders and either cannot recognize or couldn't care less that they are exhibiting the very behavior toward others that they feel is directed toward them. And I'm not just referring to Skip - he just happens to be the most popular target at the moment. There are a number of others whose behavior is just as disturbing as his. People who want to participate here are going to have to tone down their vitriol and modify their behavior. Otherwise, they will be in effect blacklisted with the implementation of the Reputation System. I look forward to it. Then we should be able to get back to airing our differences without fear of character assassination. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. We'll let it run over the weekend then on Monday morning we will enable the account restriction ability.
During and/or at the end of the test run, the scores may be reset. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | I handed out a few positive ratings and one negative (for testing only after which I removed it). I wasn't expecting to go to a separate page every time. But it bad at all. I'd have to say that overall, I like it and look forward to it going live. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |
