My Thoughts:

This one has some good, funny moments... but it isn't one that will become a favorite. I mean it is worth the time put in to watch it but not one that I will feel the need to watch every year. I found the guy that was throwing the party every year to be predictable... but at the same time who he ended up being a bit on the stupid side. Though that is really just a minor part of the movie.

My Thoughts:

I first watched this one on Netflix last year. I enjoyed it so much that I got a copy on DVD for this year. I liked all the characters. It is a fun storyline. And I do think the entire cast did a wonderful job. Sure the entire movie was predictable. Especially if you are a fan of romantic comedies. But sometimes it isn't all about the ending... it's the journey that matters. I recommend checking it out if you like romantic comedies.

My Thoughts:

OK... what did I watch here? This one is definitely only for those that have fond memories of the '60s Adam West TV series... which I did watch as a kid. So this one does have a touch of nostalgia for me... but at the same time not as it is a new film. Just made in the way of the old series. Right down to 3 of the series stars doing voices for this animated film.I felt this one to be hilariously awful. But for those that don't know or didn't like the '60s it would just be plain awful. This film made me realize just how much I prefer the modern animated Batman movies!

My Thoughts:

i enjoyed this one quite a bit. It has a fun story line and there is a few cast members here that I am familiar with. The main male lead Alex O'Laughlin I know from a few different TV series... currently Hawaii 5-0. Then for a blast from the past... Tom Bosley from Happy Days and Linda Lavin from Alice are both in this one as well. While like most romantic comedies I found this to be highly on the predictable side...there is a lot of fun moments leading up to what you know is coming. I found it to be well worth the time put in to watch it.

This is a hard one for me to review...On one hand I enjoyed both the laughs and the action. But on the other I feel it went too far into the silly/stupid style of comedy that I seldomly enjoy. My Thoughts:

This one is a pure fun action film... a leave your brain at the door, suspend disbelief action joyride. Knowing this is a comic book film helped me suspend disbelief enough to enjoy this one quite a bit. I normally really like Morgan Freeman and he was good in this one. But this time my favorite character had to be Fox played my Angelina Jolie.I thought she was a cool character and done well. Of course this is coming from someone that never read the comic to compare. So I don't know how loyal the film is to the comics. But if you are ever in the mood for an action flick you don't want/need to think about... this one is worth the time put in to watch it.

Kristen Bell as Kiki
Christina Applegate as Gwendolyn
Jada Pinkett Smith as Stacy

Plot:
In this outrageous comedy from the writers of The Hangover, Amy (Mila Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, a beautiful home and a career. However, she's over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she's about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms (Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn) on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long-overdue freedom, fun and self indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) and her clique of devoted perfect moms (Jada Pinkett Smith and Annie Mumolo). See the movie that critics are cheering as "...a funny, giddy, sentimental laugh-in..." – Manohla Dargis, The New York Times.

My Thoughts:

This one I have been curious about every since I first saw the trailer. Not do much for the film itself... as it looked like it could easily go either way... but because I am a fan of multiple actresses in this one. I found the film to be enjoyable but nothing special. I found it to be worth the time put in to watch it... but it is not I see myself watching often. I found the interviews with the actresses real life mothers during the end credits as entertaining as the film itself.

Ever think of using letterboxd.com to track your movies?

I'd guess you've already seen it, but it is a great site to track movies, write reviews and discuss film.  Making a lists is also a great feature.

Also features are Stats & by year 2016 - Year in Review

If you get a Pro membership you can import, so if you have been using DVDP to track your films you could do an export and do an import.

If you've already seen it, and not interested please disregard.

Happy new year i guess! I've been real slow with my reviews. Lazyness and much work i guess. I use letterboxd tho! Anyways, since i got the late shift at work today, i decided to rewatch this one before i start. Havent seen it for years, and i rememberd that i really enjoyed it when i watched it then. And really loved now aswell. Great  actionflick with the usual revenge story, played by a decent cast with Mark Wahlberg in the lead. Great moments trough-out. Strong story about what family means, and what they are willing to do for eachother. And this blurayset offers some great extras aswell. Check it out!
