| Posted: | | | | The tiny headshot icon in the cast and crew list is only visible when the headshot is within the cast/crew database. Not when the file is in the CreditPhotos folder on the harddrive. I'd like to see it also when a file with a matching filename is in that folder. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | This is my file path setting: This is my photo folder: This is before I click on any of these names (most of them have a photo): This is after I clicked on one: | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Mine are in the default CreditPhotos folder. Maybe that's where they need to be in order to get the little icon. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Then why have the option to change the folder in the settings. But for testing's sake I put one back into the original folder and reset the path. Still no icon. Are you sure that you don't just see it because you have an (additional) image stored directly in the DB? Do you see an image of the actor when you have the Edit Screen open and the actor selected? | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | In my case, no, I do not have another photo, but if that happens, no problem, at least I have a picture. what happens is that when I edit the actor I have two photos. |

Interesting. The phot you see in the popup is the one on your harddrive. The lower one is the one stored in the database. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Along a sequence of images to illustrate: 1 - Stephanie Honore Sanchez has no photo 2 - When I select the name, the picture appears 3 - When I switch from film and return the photo disappears Resolution: 4 - Edict actor 5 - Copy Paste the photo 6 - Now it's OK 7 - Repeat the process for Jon Michael Davis There must be another form of resolution, I think |

There must be another form of resolution, I think That's the whole point of this feature request. If the phot is dierctly in the database (the copying you did in 5) then the icon is there. Otherwise it's not, even when there's a correctly named file on the hard drive. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | So...it seems that I don't have the little icon either. The actors I happened to check were at the top of the cast lists in the profiles I looked at, so they were auto-selected causing the icon to appear. Sorry for the misinformation. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. I've been wondering, is this where you are just keeping a copy of each headshot photo you use in your own local database (for storage so to speak), but still have to 'drag-and-drop' each photo into the Cast List as per usual?
I was thinking/hoping there was a way to load 'new' headshots straight from this folder, rather than the 'drag-and-drop' method. |
