| Posted: | | | | I recently submitted a complete cast/crew profile for Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. Since I own 4 different releases of this movie, I submitted 4 separate profile submissions.
Lady Vengeance: Ultimate Revenge Edition Region A US Blu-ray (842498-000212) 0 Votes For 0 Votes Against
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance Region A HK Blu-ray (4-895033-768128) 1 Vote For 0 Votes Against
Lady Vengeance Region B DE Blu-ray (4-020974-165754) 13 Votes For 0 Votes Against
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance: Special Edition R3 Korean DVD (8-809086-115729) 3 Votes For 3 Votes Against
So far, there is 17 Votes for and 3 Votes against. 3 No votes were due to inclusion of divider in the main cast listing. The movie begins with names of 4 main cast members in romanized alphabet and Korean without role names. The end credits are only in Korean and list all cast members in the order of appearance with roles, except 8 cast members who are listed at the end under "Woojeong Choolyeon" which means Special Appearance or Cameo Appearance. I listed the cast credit starting out with 4 main cast without role names, then added a empty divider, followed by complete cast listing with role names, followed by another divider titled "Special Appearance", followed by additional 8 cast members with role names.
The votes are interesting for many reasons.
1. There are so many votes on the German Blu-ray release 2. There are no votes on the US Blu-ray release (Best Buy exclusive until June 15, 2010) 3. All the no votes are for the R3 Korean DVD (I don't know what that means) | | | My Home Theater |

You entered four cast members twice, from the opening and again from the standard film credits? Then I am unable to endorse your contribution. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

| Posted: | | | | Personally didnt understand the empty divider, If its empty then what its dividing? If its separating the first 4 cast members, then shouldnt the first four cast members be inside the divider? | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | I don't own this title, but I would have voted 'no' based on the empty divider as well. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | If i understand you correctly you used 4 cast members from the opening credits and used them again, because they are credited there as well, in the end credits. You used a divider to show this
We never do this as far as i know, unless they are not mentioned in the end credits.
I'vote no too, sorry.

http://s10.directupload.net/images/100530/ct4tf7pu.jpg Thanks for the pic, seeing this i'd vote no. Although the rest looks good i think this is not according to the rules, if you remove the first four and the divider it be great, Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Despite not agreeing with the empty divider and cast repeats, I'd still vote Yes on this. The reason being that I'm a firm believer in taking the good with the bad, and in this case there's a lot to like with only a few things to dislike.
I'd probably comment in the Yes vote about what I dislike and hope that xradman changed it. If he didn't change it, I'd make the changes myself once the profile was downloaded, and then contribute that.
But my basic point is that as long as the net sum is in the positive, I'll vote Yes. | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! Dolly's not alone. | Posted: | | | | Your comments are appreciated. I withdrew all 4 existing contributions and made the changes some of you requested and resubmitted them for your vote.
For my personal database, I kept the credits as I submitted originally because I think that is closer to the original intent of the film makers in having the top 4 cast on top of the credits (the entire end credits are in order of appearance except the special appearance casts). | | | My Home Theater |

It's easy enough to fix it in my local, and if someone is going to make a huge correction with one niggle, all things considered, it's easier for me to fix one slight thing than 100 other things that are corrected. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

As it happens, that's Invelos' policy as well: Quoting Ken Cole: Quote: The Invelos evaluators' standing policy is to accept profiles that add significant value. They do not have to be complete, nor even completely accurate. If you're submitting 50 painstakingly correct cast entries but get the production year wrong, the profile should be accepted and corrected later. |

They allow the contributor a chance to correct their submission if they choose, and save someone the effort of the correction later on."
