| Posted: | | | | Hey there,
thinking about how to contribut this. As an example I take the UK Terminator Salvation Blu-ray.
As Special Features it has the following: Trailers Featurettes movieIQ BD-Live
and it has:
Maximum Movie Mode
Within this Mode you have Galleries, PIP, Commentaries, Storyboards and Featurettes, which run alongside the film.
My question is now: Do I enter "Maximum Movie Mode" into the "Other Features" field or Do I just tick Storyboards, PiP, Galleries and Commentary or Do I do both ?
Kinda tricky, from my stomach , I would just enter "Maximum Movie Mode", but curious what you think.

| Posted: | | | | Hmmm. If you select this Maximum Movie Mode and then can individually select (enable/disable) commentaries, galleries and storyboards i'd definitely select the individual items.
If they are all collectively enabled and disabled that might be more problematic but i'm not sure i'd vote against them being added as individual features.
Whichever way you go detailed contribution notes will definitely be appreciated. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Then i agree with Addicted. And explaining it in your notes would definitely be beneficial down the line.
Cheers. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | I agree with Tweeter and pete, and as Tweetyer give a good solid description in the Notes would be very helpful since obviously, Maximum Movie Mode by itself isn't going to tell much and there isn't room in the other Features.

| Posted: | | | | Except not all Maximum Movie Mode has all those features. Some may only have running video commentary, some gallery, some story boards, etc or combination of any of these things. I think it would be useful to individually select included features and not just "other" tickbox. | | | My Home Theater |

| Posted: | | | | That is true, each maximum Movie Mode has different features, but you can never select them seperately, they always run in the maximum Movie Mode. Guess we might need a rules update for that cheers Donnie | | | www.tvmaze.com |

| Posted: | | | | If it's anythign like Watmen, which has a Maximum Movie mode in teh US (you poor bastards got stuck with the theatrical cut), then it isn't really a commentary as for the most part, people interrupt the movie to talk, not talk over it. The featurettes can all be individually selected from the menu, so I would still check them. |

| Posted: | | | | I believe checking off the individual boxes when the extras can not be individually selected would be misinterpreting what is on the disc... and confusing at the best. I would still use only the Other Features.. of course with good notes as others has said. | | | Pete |

I haven't seen Terminator: Salvation, though. |

| Posted: | | | | On that I can only go by what Donnie said... and according to him at least on this one they cannot be selected individually so.... at least in this case I think it would be misinterpreting the extras on the disc and would only use Other Features. I don't have it either... so just going by what we are told here.
