| Posted: | | | | I recently started a thread in the technical support section asking how people were entering special characters such as the em dash since I was having trouble with that. It turns out a few others were having issues as well and one person (Patsa) suggested that it would be nice to have some of the common special characters added to the overview editing box (like the Bold and Italics buttons). I thought this was a great idea and would keep people from having to copy and paste characters or having to remember ALT codes for special characters (e.g. —, –, ™, ©, ®).

| Posted: | | | | Sounds good but maybe instead of having them pre-defined, maybe have it so you can bind whichever characters you want to them. |

| Posted: | | | | I could actually agree to the most common ones (e.g. –, —, ™, ©, ®), but how would they play in other countries? |

| Posted: | | | | But have them definable as Forget says, although there's no reason they can't default to those ones. |

| Posted: | | | | Of course it would work so much better if the Edit Overview window could actually display these characters... |

| Posted: | | | | I'm all for this idea as well. I usually have a hard time remembering the Alt codes and it's a minor PITA to look them up each time. | | | My phpDVDprofiler collection |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, I like this too and I also would like to have a footnote button ( ... ) for all the asterisk notes I have in my overviews. | | | Martin Zuidervliet
