| | Posted: | | | | I have a contribution pending for 'American Wedding' (025192-379925) where I removed the bold formatting from the overview. I did this because the words are red, not bold. I have gotten 3 'no' votes on this. The only helpful one stated, "The Red indicates that this is BOLD. Why else would it be different?"
So, my question...does any highlighting qualify as bold or do the words have to be bold for them to be entered as bold? | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.

It's interesting how, before we got real bold and italics – which i like, and only had single quotes most people simply knew what to do with the quotes. They put them around bold and italic sections, only rarely straying into marking colored text, or text of a different size. It was seldom an issue in my experience. People just got it. Now suddenly color equals bold. Why not italics, it is every bit as arbitrary a choice in highlighting color. I'm waiting for someone to resubmit this highlighted...   | | | | Bad movie? Bolding a text (whatever the colour) emphasises it.

I would concur...going on tweeter example above I would say the only part of that overview to be bolded would be the "Dazed and Confused" between (nostalgia, & is less about) all the rest is a coloured style ("colored" for our American friends who don't know how to spell yet  ) Steve |

It's in ALL-CAPS, so I'd do the same, but I don't see that it's bolded in comparison with the rest of the overview text. |

I just contributed this yesterday. In my opinion, the entire overview is printed in Bold. Mostly the text is white, some text is black, and some text is black + italic. I entered the black text as bold, and black + italic text as bold + italic.
Before you judge, please check the backcover. I believe this must be verified case by case.
