| Posted: | | | | Is it possible to turn the immages in Landscape mode.
For example. I want to make a repport like a DVD insert. I can put immages but I can't turn the text or the immages so that it is shown in landscape mode (turn of 90°) |

Or is just the image you want landscape? If so You copy and save to program such as Acdsee or Arcsoft and turn the image there and then save back to you base., Can't imagine that would be the scenario as the thumbnails would like like crap on your screen., So it must be the printed Landscape itself?? | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now when I want to create a DVD insert. the text I'm putting in the middle of the insert is in the wrong direction. and I don't know how to turn the text so that it would be in the good direction. secondly I have no Idea how the programm in Acdsee or arsoft. |

I, too am looking for a landscape report that would print out a dvd cover to be inserted under the DVD case plastic cover (not the slim case - but a standard case). It should include the front image, back image and the DVD name along the spine. I have been looking at all the reports and have not been able to find one. Anyone out there see something like this? If I was computer savvy I would try to build a report myself, but alas I'm am pretty computer illiterate!! Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!!! |

Don't your DVDs come with covers? Yes most of the DVD's come with covers. but sometimes I copy a DVD from a friend (I know it's illegal but everyone does it). And so I need tot know how to change the orientation of the spine text. |

Which is exactly why Invelos should not ever make this option available. You yourself say you know it's illegal, yet you want Invelos to provide the tool to help you do it By doing so they would be condoning an illegal act and would probably end up getting shut down. I'm glad it's not there and don't think it will ever be. Their policy is quite clearly posted in the forum rules: Quote: We have absolutely no tolerance for discussions promoting DVD or CD piracy specifically. For the record "everybody" DOESN'T do it, and I take offense and being included in your generalization. |

| Posted: | | | | I didn't say you all did it or do it. But if you look at the statistics you'll see that a lot of people does it.
All my DVD in my collection I bought in the shop but sometimes I couldn't find that DVD in the store anymore so (For Example: Out of Africa) so I copied it from a friend who had that DVD. The possibility of changing the orientation of the text and the immages is also good when the cover I get with the DVD is ugly. then I can print a new cover using other images and I can print on that same cover a collection number. |

Try "dvd covers" on google.
I don't think that DVD Profiler should in any way carry the spines so you can print out the whole cover, but do agree that rotating report elements would be handy. |

| Posted: | | | | A landscape and/or custom paper report option has much more possibilities than creating covers for illegitimate copies. It could be used for custom covers of your home made movies managed through your local database. It could be used for custom covers for your DVD collection which you have converted to smaller cases (e.g. CD jewel cases) because size restraints. Or it could be used for reports which have nothing at all to do with covers like printing an A5 coffee table book on an A4 printer or for something completely different. I'd like to see landscape reports (or better custom paper) for at least two legit reasons which I have mentioned. |

| Posted: | | | | I want to create a report that is 11 wide and 8.5 high instead of the opposite which seems to be customary. Margins are set to zero. In REPORTS, EDIT REPORT, GENERAL the width and height can be set to those dimensions. Then in CONTENT the screen appears correctly and items can be added and edited. But when the report is run or printed, the left and right sides are cut off. Just changing my printer setting from portrait to landscape does not help. Why do I want to do this? To save space I prefer to store my entire DVD collection in "CD wallets" instead of the jewel boxes. The covers I store in 8.5 x 11 sheet protectors and these go in a 3 ring binder. I cross reference with the collection number which is on my report and on each CD wallet. Flattened out, the original covers fit in the protectors "landscape" wise. My report for a DVD is in the facing sheet protector so the notebook has to be turned one way to read the original DVD cover and 90 degrees to read my report. How Awkward! Is there any chance this will be fixed? DVD PROFILER 3.0.3 Build 1136 |

| Posted: | | | | Newbee. I've been looking too at profiler for creating DVD covers. Why - because I want to save cabinet space and move to slim-line cases. Perfectly legit. Don't need the text on the spine, but would like templates for landscaped front and back covers. Haven't purchased yet because of this. |
