I think the newest version can be found here. You need to log in to see the attachment.

well - I looked at the jpg-config.inc.php file again and changed the TTF dir and its definitely picking up the same fonts directory.

[...]

all my graphs look good.. but not the banner..

I only have this locally, but it started when I updated my XAMPP... I didn't change anything else.

Could such behaviour be caused by the version of PHP being used? IIRC my current XAMPP included 5.2.2 (if that doesn't make sense, I'll double-check).

As for Paul, all other graphs are working fine. Only the dynamic ?me link has trouble and the static images are created without the text.

One thing I have done is look again through ws.php - it looks like it using fonts in a directory called fonts/truetype/ - is this correct?

I have all my fonts defined in just the fonts directory...

I thought since all the other progs use the settings for the font directory that the ws one would as well..

I shall try copying all the fonts to a truetype directory and see if that makes a difference later..

Well, not quite... I read that line that way, that it assembles the path to the fonts using $jpgraphlocation, as set in your localsiteconfig, and then add fonts/truetype/ to that.

So, if localsiteconfig:
$jpgraphlocation = 'jpgraph/'

ws.php will use:
jpgraph/fonts/truetype/

success at last.    Many thanks for your help - I'd given up on this..

When I have a moment I'll try reducing the number of font directories to only 1..

Somehow I am not sure now, what exactly you did to fix it.

Did you edit the ws.php or did you move the jpgraph folder or did you adjust $jpgraphlocation? Where are your multiple/truetype folders?

I have phpdvdprofiler\fonts
and
jpgraph\fonts\truetype

I didn't edit any of the files - ws.php uses the 2nd folder by default. And localsiteconfig uses the 1st folder. So for any upgrades I can replace all the files (except localsiteconfig) and all will be ok.

Hmmm, then it's fine for you, but maybe still trouble for me. I already use the jpgraph\fonts\truetype for everything, but ws.php has trouble to create the dynamic signature images. The graphs on the statistics page work all great.

It's not such a big deal, as itz's just my local version, but I'd still prefer it to work correctly.

What is your TTF-DIR in the jpgraph-inc.php (or whatever that's called) file?

I assume in localsiteconfig your $jpgraphlocation is 'fonts/'...?

How easy would it be to convert phpDVDProfiler to use another database such as SQL Server?  I've already got two database servers running on my server and would like to keep it at that number.

I'll look at these when I get home from work - but the graphlocation looks different.. I think its '../phpdvdprofiler/fonts'  - which is why I have two different font directories.

But I'll check and post what I found..

I'm not entirely certain. The database code is roughly abstracted into a class in mysql.php, or mysqli.php. This was done with the intention of supporting other databases. Sadly, I know little of the various idiosyncrasies of various databases.

for the most part, very simple SELECTS are done, and they should (i think) work on most DBs. The V3 version uses an auto-increment field in the common names table, but that isn't really required (i think that is a mysql-specific feature; i'm not sure)

If you want to experiment, let me know and I'll see if I can assist ...

Well, here are mine:

localsiteconfig.php:
$jpgraphlocation = 'jpgraph/';

jpg-config.inc.php
DEFINE("TTF_DIR","D:/ya_shin/My Web Site/ya-shin/phpdvdprofiler/jpgraph/fonts/truetype/");
I think
DEFINE("TTF_DIR","./jpgraph/fonts/truetype/");
worked as well.

Folder(s) is (are):
\phpdvdprofiler\jpgraph\fonts\truetype

I figured the toughest part of porting to another DB would be in the table creates.  MSSQL supports auto-incrementing fields known as "Identity" types.

I'll take a looksee.
